| 2022 Oakville Cuvée This limited production wine is a blend of select lots of Oakville’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon and blending varieties, contributed by winery members of the Oakville Winegrowers. The Cuvée offers the collector an extraordinary opportunity to experience the best of Napa Valley’s premier growing region. There is no other wine that equally represents the spirit of an appellation and the camaraderie of its vintners. Each bottle is etched and the large formats are numbered, a beautiful and rare addition to any wine cellar. Winemaker’s Notes: Winemakers describe Napa Valley’s 2022 red wines as having elegant structure with deep color, luxurious tannins and exquisite fruit-forward aromatics. The unique weather events that defined the vintage showcase the full range of flavors that Oakville wines are known for, and resulted in softer tannins that allow the opulent fruit characters to shine. The 2022 Cuvée is a deep magenta colored wine that opens with aromas of black raspberry complemented by bright notes of violet and a touch of mint, vanilla and chocolate. On the palate it is smooth, with approachable tannins and a luscious mouthfeel that lingers nicely on flavors of blackberry, fig, and hints of black pepper and cedar. Cellar for 10-20 years, or decant if enjoying it sooner.
