2023 Oakville Cuvée

Cellared and Bottled at Paradigm Winery

   This limited production wine is a blend of select lots of Oakville’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon and blending varieties, contributed by winery members of the Oakville Winegrowers. The Cuvée offers the collector an extraordinary opportunity to experience the best of Napa Valley’s premier growing region. There is no other wine that equally represents the spirit of an appellation and the camaraderie of its vintners. Each bottle is etched and the large formats are numbered, a beautiful and rare addition to any wine cellar.

   Winemaker’s Notes: In 2023, Napa Valley experienced one of the longest growing seasons in a decade or more. With consistent, mild weather throughout the season, above-average crop yields, and extended hang time, 2023 is an exceptionally high-quality vintage and the wines will appeal particularly to those with a classic palate.
Our 2023 Cuvée offers a silky structure with intense color, luxurious tannins and exquisite dark fruit aromatics. The unique weather events that defined the vintage showcase the full range of flavors that Oakville wines are known for. The Cuvée opens with aromas of blackberry and cassis complemented by bright notes of violet and a touch of mint and chocolate. On the palate it is mouth filling, with velvety tannins and flavors of black cherry, plum, baking spices, and hints of nutmeg and toasted almonds. Cellar for 5-20 years, or decant if enjoying it sooner.

Blend: 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 4% Malbec, .5% Cabernet Franc, .5% Petit Verdot
